Magnesium Fire Starter Kit – Finest All in One Tool for Outdoors and Survival
I had no concept that this tool would be such a relationship builder for me and my boy.
I spent time in the outdoors doing a bunch of camping and canoeing with my papa. I constantly wished to share those experiences with my boy.
I added this tool to my outdoor camping equipment because it seemed to be a required addition. I bought it on Amazon because it was readily available with free shipping for orders over $35, and I was purchasing other camping equipment at the time.
After the purchase, I took my boy on a camping journey. As we were establishing camp, we decided to make a fire. I got the fire starter out and proceeded to reveal to him the actions necessary to produce a fire. I made my stack of kindling and had him make one too. We then scraped our shavings onto the stack and then we collaborated to produce the sparks with the fire starter. I confess he got aggravated because it was a bit more difficult for him as he had never done anything like this in the past. After a couple of attempts, his fire was burning and excitement was in the air.
I talked to him about emergency situations that might arise and instructed him that the whistle included with the tool is an excellent way to signal if you are in trouble. The compass was an excellent addition too, and I revealed him ways to utilize it to return back to camp.
All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I bought it to make fires, however it did much more by creating memories for me and my boy that we will cherish for life.
